Sun TV Network Acquires 100% Equity of Northern Superchargers Limited for GBP 100.5 Million

Sun TV Network Ltd, a prominent media company, has approved the acquisition of 100% equity of Northern Superchargers Limited, a company registered in London, United Kingdom, for a consideration of GBP 100.5 million. This acquisition will make Northern Superchargers Limited a wholly owned subsidiary of Sun TV Network Limited. The acquisition is part of Sun TV Network's strategy to expand its global footprint in sports, as it already owns two cricket franchises - Sun Risers Hyderabad under Indian Premier League and SunRisers Eastern Cape under SA20 League. The acquisition is expected to be completed by 31st December 2025.
