Sunsky Logistics Ltd has reported a cyber fraud incident involving a fraudulent change in bank account details for payments to a US-based service provider. The company processed a payment of approximately USD 4,88,000 to a revised, unauthorized bank account based on a forged email and mandate. The fraud was discovered when the service provider confirmed non-receipt of funds. An internal investigation is underway, and a formal complaint will be filed with authorities. The company is working with its bankers for fund recovery and is reassessing its internal controls to prevent recurrence. Management is traveling to the US to pursue recovery and legal remedies.
