Suprajit Engineering Invests ₹38.4 Lakhs in Solar Power Project

Suprajit Engineering Ltd has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and a Share Acquisition and Shareholders' Agreement to invest ₹38,40,000 (₹38.4 Lakhs) in Amplus Green Power Private Limited. This investment will secure a minimum 26% stake in a solar power plant in Uttar Pradesh, allowing Suprajit to source solar power as a captive consumer. The arrangement is expected to reduce electricity costs at its Uttar Pradesh manufacturing facilities and increase the proportion of renewable energy in its power consumption, aligning with its sustainability goals. The transaction is subject to customary conditions and is anticipated to be completed within four months.
