Taj GVK Hotels Rebrands to Krishna GVK Luxury Hotels

Taj GVK Hotels & Resorts Limited has officially changed its name to Krishna GVK Luxury Hotels Limited, effective October 30, 2026, following a change in ownership. The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) sold its 25.52% stake in December 2025, leading to the GVK-Bhupal promoter family gaining full ownership. The company will continue to operate its six hotels under the Taj brand through management agreements with IHCL. The first hotel under the new name, Taj Yelahanka in Bengaluru, is set to open by the end of November. The company emphasizes its strong balance sheet and focus on growth in high-potential markets.
