Tata Chemicals Subsidiary TCML Forms Technical Committee with Kenyan Ministry

Tata Chemicals Limited (TCL) has provided an update on a notice issued to its Kenyan subsidiary, Tata Chemicals Magadi Limited (TCML), by the Ministry of Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs, Kenya. Following a meeting between the Cabinet Secretary and TCML executives, a high-level technical committee has been established. This committee, co-led by the Principal Secretary for Mining and the CEO of TCML, will conduct a detailed technical review of the matters raised by the Ministry. The objective is to develop a sustainable framework promoting responsible mining, value addition, community development, and mutually beneficial partnerships, aiming for a comprehensive and timely resolution.
