TCS Subsidiary to Build 1GW AI Data Center Campus in Telangana

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) subsidiary, HyperVault AI Data Center Limited, will establish a large-scale AI data center campus with up to 1GW capacity in Hyderabad, Telangana. The campus, spread across 264 acres, will support frontier AI companies and hyperscalers with high-density, liquid-cooled compute infrastructure. The project will be developed in phases and aims to leverage green energy and water-neutral design. This initiative is expected to involve an investment of up to Rs 70,000 crore and will significantly boost India's AI infrastructure ecosystem, creating thousands of jobs. The Telangana government has expressed strong support for the project, highlighting its strategic importance for the region and the nation's AI ambitions.
