TP Solar Limited Produces 2.9 GW of Solar Modules and 2.8 GW of Solar Cells in 9 Months (FY26)

TP Solar Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, produced 2.8 GW of DCR solar cells and 2.9 GW of solar modules from April 2025 to December 2025. The cell manufacturing production increased nearly 5x year-on-year in Q3 FY26, while module production grew approximately 7% in the same period. The facility in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, is one of India’s largest single-location state of the art solar cell and module manufacturing facilities, with a workforce comprising nearly 80% women. Tata Power has invested nearly ₹ 4,300 crore in establishing this facility, which is equipped with advanced TOPCon and Mono PERC technologies.
