
Tata Power Renewable Energy Commissions 300 MW DCR Solar Project for NHPC in Bikaner, Rajasthan
Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a leading player in India’s renewable energy sector, has successfully commissioned NHPC Limited’s landmark 450 MWp (DC) / 300 MW (AC) DCR- compliant solar power project at Karnisar Bhatiyan, Bikaner, Rajasthan. The project, executed over a span of two and a half years, stands as a demonstration to TPREL'’s robust project management and technical capabilities. The plant features high-efficiency solar modules manufactured by TP Solar Limited, Tirunelveli, and is supplying the entire power to PSPCL. The project has generated approximately 17,230 million units of green electricity and has created livelihood opportunities in the area. TPREL has commissioned over 4.9 GW of third-party projects and has a total renewable utility capacity of 11.6 GW.
