Tata Steel Announces CIO Change: Jayanta Banerjee Retires, Manish Garg Appointed

Tata Steel Limited has announced changes in its Senior Management Personnel, effective November 1, 2026. Mr. Jayanta Banerjee, the current Chief Information Officer (CIO), will superannuate from his services. Concurrently, Mr. Manish Garg will be appointed as the new Chief Information Officer. Mr. Garg joined Tata Steel as CIO (Designate) in January 2026 and brings close to 29 years of experience, primarily from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). His expertise lies in digital transformation, technology-driven innovation, and data-led decisions across various industries and global teams.
