TeamLease: Gujarat HC grants ad-interim relief in EPFO case

TeamLease Services Ltd announced that the Hon'ble High Court of Gujarat has granted ad-interim relief to its subsidiary, TeamLease Skills University (TLSU), in an Interlocutory Application (IA) filed in a Special Civil Application. The IA seeks a stay on proceedings initiated by the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) against TLSU under Section 125 of the Code on Social Security, 2020. The High Court has ordered a stay on further proceedings pursuant to the summons dated September 29, 2026, until the next hearing on December 01, 2026. TLSU is challenging an EPFO order dated March 11, 2026, passed under Para 26B of the Employees' Provident Funds Scheme, 1952. The matter remains sub judice.
