Tembo Global Industries Begins Defence Facility Construction in Amravati

Tembo Global Industries Limited has commenced construction for its defence manufacturing facility in Amravati, Maharashtra, through its subsidiary Tembo Classic Engineering Private Limited (TCEPL). This marks a significant expansion into small arms and ammunition manufacturing. The company has secured necessary licenses from the Ministry of Home Affairs for ammunition and small arms manufacturing. This project aligns with India's 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' and 'Make in India' initiatives, aiming to bolster domestic defence production and reduce import dependency. The facility will complement Tembo's existing engineering, industrial products, and infrastructure businesses, with plans to develop manufacturing capabilities and operational readiness for domestic and international defence markets.
