Tenneco Clean Air India to Expand Capacity with New Factory

Tenneco Clean Air India Limited announced its Board of Directors has approved a capacity expansion by setting up a new factory in Western India. The company plans to add approximately 0.3 million units of "hot end" products (catalytic converters) annually over the next 2-3 financial years. The estimated investment for this expansion is INR 450 million, to be financed through internal accruals. This move is driven by growth in demand and the strategic aim to improve the manufacturing footprint in Western India. The existing capacity is around 2 to 2.2 million units, with current utilization at approximately 99%.
