Texmaco Rail: ₹412.32 Cr Order Boost for BOXNS Wagons

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd has received an amendment to a contract from the Ministry of Railways, increasing the order for BOXNS wagons. The original contract has been amended to include an additional 1,020 BOXNS wagons, bringing the total to 4,420. This expansion is valued at ₹412.32 crores and is on the same price, terms, and conditions as the original contract. The amended total contract value now stands at ₹1786.74 Crores (including taxes). The execution/delivery period for the increased quantity will be 162 days beyond the re-fixed delivery period, extending up to June 11, 2027. This amendment is exercised under the option clause of the original contract.
