Bharat Mohta Acquires 14.32% Stake in Indian Wood Products

Bharat Mohta has acquired 91,60,200 equity shares, representing 14.319% of the total share capital, in The Indian Wood Products Company Ltd from Savita Mohta. This transaction is an inter-se transfer among promoters and is exempted from making an open offer under Regulation 10(1)(a)(ii) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. The acquisition was made by way of gift, with no consideration involved. Following the transaction, Bharat Mohta's shareholding increased from 11.939% to 26.258%. The disclosure under Regulation 10(5) was made to BSE Limited on August 17, 2026, prior to the acquisition date of August 24, 2026.
