Thomas Cook India: Chandran Ratnaswami Retires

Thomas Cook (India) Ltd announced the retirement of Non-Executive Director, Mr. Chandran Ratnaswami, at the upcoming 49th Annual General Meeting (AGM). Mr. Ratnaswami expressed his desire not to seek re-appointment due to other commitments within the Fairfax Group. The Board accepted his request and recommended that his reappointment not be sought at the AGM. Additionally, the Board recommended the re-appointment of Mr. Sumit Maheshwari, a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, who is retiring by rotation at the AGM and has offered himself for re-appointment. The 49th AGM will be held on September 10, 2026, and the book closure will be from August 28, 2026, to September 10, 2026, for dividend payment purposes.
