Timken India Gets Two BIS Licenses for Bearings

Timken India Limited has announced the receipt of two Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) licenses for its bearings. These licenses are for Spherical Roller Bearings (SRB) production at its new Bharuch plant and Cylindrical Roller Bearings (CRB) production at its old Bharuch plant. This achievement signifies the company's commitment to manufacturing excellence, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. The BIS certification is expected to enhance customer confidence, strengthen supply assurance by certifying manufacturing across three plants, and improve readiness for tenders requiring certified components, particularly benefiting OEMs, infrastructure projects, and regulated sectors.
