Titagarh Naval Systems Launches Final Indian Navy Diving Support Craft
Titagarh Naval Systems Limited (TNSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Titagarh Rail Systems Limited, has launched the fifth and final Diving Support Craft (DSC) A24 (YARD 329) for the Indian Navy. This marks the completion of a series of five DSCs built under the 'Make in India' initiative. These catamaran-type vessels are designed with indigenous systems to support the Navy's diving operations, including underwater inspection, repair, and salvage. The launch ceremony, attended by approximately 200 guests, was graced by Mrs. Kamal Singh. The vessels feature nearly 70% indigenous content, aligning with the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' and 'Viksit Bharat' visions. TNSL is also developing a new shipyard in Falta, West Bengal, to expand its shipbuilding capabilities for both domestic and international markets.
