TARIL Enters Nuclear Power Sector with Landmark NPCIL Order

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited (TARIL) has secured a significant order from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) for Generator Transformers for the Kaiga Units 5 & 6 nuclear power project. This marks TARIL's strategic entry into the nuclear power sector, a new and important segment for the company. The order was received via Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL). The Kaiga project involves two indigenous 700 MWe Pressurised Heavy Water Reactors, contributing to India's nuclear power expansion and self-reliance in technology. This order validates TARIL's technological and engineering capabilities for critical power applications and strengthens its position in the high-value power infrastructure market.
