TCI and FLYING WHALES announce strategic collaboration for low carbon logistics solutions in India

Transport Corporation of India Limited (TCI) and FLYING WHALES, a French group developing the LCA60T aeronautical program, have announced a strategic collaboration. The LCA60T is a rigid cargo airship with a large payload capacity of 60 tons, capable of loading and delivering cargo in stationary flight. This collaboration aims to decarbonize transportation of goods, including heavy or bulky loads, and explore new logistics, infrastructure, and supply chain solutions in India, with a specific focus on enabling high-value and mission-critical programs. FLYING WHALES is also advancing discussions to establish its third global hub in Tamil Nadu, India, under its ‘Three Pillars’ strategy.
