Transrail Lighting Ltd. Invests INR 31.53 Crores in UAE Subsidiary Transrail Trading LLC

Transrail Lighting Ltd. has made a further investment of INR 31.53 Crores in its wholly owned subsidiary, Transrail Trading LLC, based in the UAE. The subsidiary, which was previously known as Transrail Contracting LLC, is involved in electrical and power infrastructure contracting activities, including electric power line contracting, electrical fitting works, power station contracting and repair works, solar energy system installation, and electricity transmission and control equipment installation. The investment will support projects in Africa and the Middle East through investment in plant and machinery and other fixed assets, procurement of materials and services for project execution, meeting working capital requirements, and for general corporate purposes including acquisitions and joint ventures.
