ULTRATECH CEMENT LTD. to Acquire 26% Stake in Amplus Omega Solar Private Limited for ₹24.3 Crores

ULTRATECH CEMENT LTD. has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement and Share Subscription and Shareholders Agreement with Amplus Omega Solar Private Limited, a company engaged in generation and transmission of renewable energy. The acquisition is aimed at meeting the Company's green energy needs, optimising energy cost and complying with regulatory requirements for captive power consumption under electricity laws. The cost of acquisition is ₹24.3 Crores, and UltraTech Cement will acquire 26% equity shares of Amplus Omega Solar Private Limited.
