
Unimech Aerospace approves ₹450 Cr investment for Hobel Bellows acquisition
Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Ltd (UAML) has approved an investment of up to ₹450 crore to acquire 'Hobel Bellows Co.', a Partnership Firm, through 'Hobel Bellows Private Limited'. UAML will acquire 24% and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Innomech Aerospace Toolings Private Limited, will acquire 76% of the shareholding in Hobel Bellows Private Limited. Hobel Bellows Private Limited will then acquire 99.99% of the partnership interest in Hobel Bellows Co. This strategic acquisition will enable UAML to move up the value chain from machined components to engineered assemblies and gain access to advanced manufacturing technologies. Hobel Bellows Co., which manufactures metallic bellows and flexible tubing assemblies, reported a turnover of ₹123.74 Cr as of March 31, 2026. The consideration will be paid in cash, comprising equity shares, a loan, and Compulsorily Convertible Debentures (CCDs), and the acquisition is expected to be completed within 7 days.
