United Breweries Commissions New Canning Line at Nizam Brewery

United Breweries Ltd (UBL) has commissioned a new canning line at its Nizam Brewery in Telangana, marking the completion of a ₹90 crore investment announced in 2025. The facility, which commenced operations after a successful product trial, is designed to produce premium products like Kingfisher and Heineken®. This expansion increases the brewery's annual production capacity by 0.4 million hectolitres, bringing the total to 0.9 million hectolitres. The move aims to meet growing consumer demand for canned beer, strengthen UBL's premium portfolio, and enhance supply chain resilience. The project was completed on time and within budget, with no disruption to existing operations.
