Universal Cables Ltd: Capacity Expansion Plan Revised to Rs. 550 Crores, Resignation of Company Secretary

Universal Cables Ltd has revised its organic expansion plan's aggregate capital outlay to approximately Rs. 550 Crores from Rs. 482 Crores. The revision is due to modifications in technical specification and upward revision of price of machineries. The company's ongoing capacity expansion project is progressing satisfactorily and is proposed to be completed in a phased manner by September 2026. The company has also announced the resignation of Shri Sudeep Jain, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, with effect from the close of business hours on 28th February, 2026.
