HDFC MF Increases UTI AMC Stake to 5.28%

HDFC Mutual Fund, through its various schemes managed by HDFC Asset Management Company Limited, has increased its aggregate holding in UTI Asset Management Company Ltd. As of September 1, 2026, the total holding stands at 5.28% of the paid-up equity share capital. This disclosure is made in accordance with Regulation 29(1) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares & Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. The acquisition was made through open market purchases, with the fund manager acquiring an additional 0.39% stake, bringing their total to 5.28% from a previous 4.89%.
