
Utkarsh SFB Q1 FY27 Net Loss Down 86% to ₹34 Cr
Utkarsh Small Finance Bank announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The bank reported a net loss of ₹34 crore, an 86% reduction from the ₹239 crore loss in the same quarter last year. Disbursements grew by 48.5% YoY, with non-JLG disbursements surging by 92.9%. The Gross Loan Portfolio increased by 2.0% YoY to ₹19,610 crore, with secured lending now forming 51% of the portfolio. Deposits grew 2.6% YoY to ₹22,054 crore, and the CASA ratio improved to 22%. Cost of Funds decreased by 40 bps YoY to 7.7%, leading to a Net Interest Margin (NIM) expansion of 20 bps YoY to 6.1%. Gross Non-Performing Assets (GNPA) improved significantly by 550 bps YoY to 5.9%, and credit cost reduced by 620 bps YoY to 2.3%. The bank operates across 27 states and UTs with 1,110 branches.
