VA Tech Wabag Appoints Samaresh Parida as Independent Director

VA Tech Wabag Limited has appointed Mr. Samaresh Parida as an Additional Director in the capacity of Non-Executive Independent Director. The appointment, effective June 26, 2026, is for a period of three years, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming 31st Annual General Meeting on August 12, 2026. Mr. Parida, a Chartered Accountant and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, brings over 40 years of global experience in strategy, finance, governance, and business transformation across various sectors including banking, telecom, FMCG, and manufacturing. He has previously held directorial and audit committee chairman roles in prominent companies like IDBI Bank Limited and Carlsberg India Limited.
