Varun Beverages Ltd Subsidiary Executes Agreement for Acquisition of 100% Equity Stake in Crickley Dairy Proprietary Limited

Varun Beverages Ltd announced that its subsidiary, The Beverage Company Proprietary Limited (Bevco), has executed an agreement to acquire 100% equity stake in Crickley Dairy Proprietary Limited (Crickley), a South African company. The acquisition is in line with Varun Beverages' strategy to diversify its product portfolio into new categories, specifically value-added dairy and juice-based drinks. The enterprise value of the acquisition is ZAR 238 million (INR 1,314.68 mn). Crickley and Clark Holdings Proprietary Limited are not related to the promoter/promoter group/group companies of Varun Beverages. The transaction does not fall under related party transactions and no shares will be issued as part of this acquisition.
