Vedanta Oil & Gas Q1 FY27 Production Down 5% QoQ to 77.7 kboepd

Vedanta Oil and Gas Limited announced its production numbers for the First Quarter ended June 30, 2026. Average daily gross operated production stood at 77.7 kboepd, a decrease of 5% compared to the previous quarter (93.2 kboepd in 4Q FY26). The company highlighted efforts to "arrest base decline and build future growth funnel" through exploration drilling, enhanced oil recovery, and infill campaigns. Production from Rajasthan, its largest asset, also saw a 15% decline QoQ to 63.1 kboepd. The Cambay block's production is subject to ongoing litigation regarding its PSC extension.
