Vedanta Re-appoints Directors, Approves Financial Results

Vedanta Limited's Board of Directors, in a meeting held on July 30, 2026, approved the re-appointment of Mr. Prasun Kumar Mukherjee as Non-Executive Independent Director for a one-year term and Mr. Arun Misra as Executive Director and CEO for a one-year term. Both re-appointments are subject to shareholder approval. The board also considered the Unaudited Consolidated and Standalone Financial Results for the First Quarter ended June 30, 2026. Mr. Mukherjee, with extensive experience in finance and management, will serve his second and final term. Mr. Misra, currently CEO of Hindustan Zinc Limited, brings significant operational and leadership experience. Both directors meet independence criteria and are not debarred from holding office.
