This contract, awarded through Domestic Competitive Bidding, is expected to strengthen India's inter-regional power transmission network, enhance grid reliability, and support rising power demand. The project scope includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, and commissioning of Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) equipment.
