Visaka Industries wins legal dispute, to realize 268.73 crores from Hyderabad Cricket Association

Visaka Industries Ltd has won a legal dispute against Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) and is set to realize an amount of 268.73 crores. The Commercial Court, Hyderabad has allowed the company's Execution Petition (E.P.) filed against HCA for realization of the amount awarded by the Arbitral Tribunal in the company's favour. The court has directed HCA to deposit the amount in its bank account. In case of failure, the bankers of HCA (Garnishee) i.e Canara Bank shall transfer the amount within three (3) weeks from November 24, 2025. The company will subsequently file a cheque petition for realization.
