This acquisition took place on 27th March, 2026, pursuant to a merger scheme sanctioned by the Hon'ble Regional Director, South East Region Directorate Hyderabad. The merger involved three Transferor Companies, including Kirti Ispat Private Limited, Utkal Ispat Private Limited, and VA Transport Private Limited, merging with Gopal Sponge and Power Private Limited (Transferee company). Consequently, VA Transport Private Limited's entire investment (55,55,500 equity shares) in Vraj Iron and Steel Ltd has been vested in and transferred to Gopal Sponge and Power Private Limited.
