Waaree Energies Ltd Boosts Manufacturing Capacities with Rs 8675 Crores Investment

Waaree Energies Ltd announced the outcomes of its Board Meeting held on October 01, 2025. The company approved a significant expansion in the capacities of its subsidiaries' manufacturing plants. Waaree Energy Storage Solutions Private Limited's Lithium-ion Advanced Chemistry Storage Cell and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing plant capacity will increase from 3.5 GWh to 20 GWh, with an additional Capex of approximately Rs 8000 crores. Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Private Limited's Electrolyser manufacturing plant capacity will rise from 300 MW to 1000 MW, with an additional Capex of approximately Rs 125 crores. Waaree Power Private Limited's Inverter manufacturing plant capacity will grow from 3 GW to 4 GW, with an additional Capex of approximately Rs 50 crores. The meeting concluded at 7.30 pm.
