Waaree Energies Ltd: Mr. Amit Ashok Paithankar Resigns as Whole-Time Director and CEO, Mr. Jignesh Devchandbhai Rathod Appointed as New CEO

Waaree Energies Ltd announced the resignation of Mr. Amit Ashok Paithankar as Whole-Time Director and CEO, effective immediately. The company has mutually agreed with Mr. Paithankar to relieve him from his position earlier than the previously communicated date of May 15, 2026. The Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Mr. Jignesh Devchandbhai Rathod as the new Whole-Time Director and CEO, subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Rathod is currently the CEO-Designate of the company and holds a bachelor’s degree of engineering, a master’s degree in business administration, and a Doctorate in Business Administration. Additionally, Ms. Sonal Shrivastava has resigned as the Chief Financial Officer, and Mr. Abhishek Pareek has been appointed as the new CFO. The company has also appointed Mr. Munna Singh as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Mr. Varun Goenka as President – Growth & Strategy.
