Waaree Energies Ltd. to Acquire 64% Stake in Kotson’s Private Limited for INR 192 Crores

Waaree Energies Ltd. announced the outcome of its Board Meeting, where it approved the acquisition of 64% of the share capital of Kotson’s Private Limited for a total consideration of INR 192 crores. Kotson’s Private Limited, established in 1978, is in the business of designing, manufacturing, and supplying advanced transformer solutions. This acquisition will enable Waaree Energies to integrate vertically, expand its market, and enhance control over the supply chain and quality of products. The acquisition is expected to be completed by September 30, 2025, or such other extended date as may be agreed between parties. The cost of acquisition is Rs 75 per share, and Waaree Energies will acquire 2.56 crore shares. Kotson’s Private Limited has a present plant production capacity of 4,000 MVA.
