Waaree Energies to Acquire 64% Stake in Kotson’s Private Limited for INR 192 Crores

Waaree Energies Ltd. announced the outcome of its Board Meeting held on September 02, 2025. The company has approved the acquisition of 64% of the share capital of Kotson’s Private Limited for a total consideration of INR 192 crores. Kotson’s Private Limited, established in 1978, is in the business of designing, manufacturing, and supplying advanced transformer solutions. The acquisition will enable Waaree Energies to integrate vertically, expand its market, and enhance control over the supply chain and quality of products. The acquisition is expected to be completed by September 30, 2025, or such other extended date as may be agreed between parties.
