Waaree Solar Americas Commences 1.6 GW Production in Texas

Waaree Energies Ltd announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas Inc. (WSA), has commenced commercial production at its facility in Brookshire, Texas, USA. The facility now houses two solar module manufacturing lines, each with an annual capacity of 800 MW, totaling 1.6 GW. This expansion brings the aggregate annual installed capacity of the Brookshire facility to 3.2 GW. The commercial production began on October 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. (CT). This move signifies a significant step in Waaree Energies' global manufacturing footprint and its commitment to expanding renewable energy production capacity in the US market.
