Websol Energy System Ltd Doubles Solar Cell Capacity to 1.2 GW

Websol Energy System Ltd has commenced commercial production of its additional 600 MW solar cell line at Falta, West Bengal. This achievement doubles the company's total solar cell capacity to 1.2 GW, along with its existing 550 MW solar module line at the same facility. The new line was funded entirely through internal accruals, reflecting the company's strong cash flow generation and conservative capital structure. The commissioning of the new line led to a one-time revenue impact during Q2 FY2026, but operations have since resumed as planned.
