Welspun Corp's Associate Company, East Pipes, Announces Capacity Expansion of Approx. 100,000 MTs in Saudi Arabia

Welspun Corp Limited's associate company, East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (EPIC), a listed entity in Saudi Arabia, has announced the signing of contracts to establish a new production line for Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes in its factory in Dammam 2'' Industrial City. The project, estimated to cost approximately SAR 48 million (approx. Rs. 113 crore), will be funded from EPIC’s available cash, bank facilities, and other financing programs. The expected completion date of the project is the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2025-26, with commercial production expected to begin in quarter one of the fiscal year 2026-27. This expansion will add approximately 100,000 MTs to EPIC’s existing nominal capacity of 400,000 MTs. There are no related parties involved in this project. The financial impact of the project will be reflected in the financial years 2025-2026 and 2026-27.
