Welspun Investments Acquires 100% Stake in Vishwakarma Realty for ₹4.62 Lakhs

Welspun Investments and Commercials Ltd announced the acquisition of 100% equity stake in Vishwakarma Realty Private Limited (VRPL) for a consideration of INR 4,62,256. The transaction, approved by the Board of Directors on September 01, 2026, makes VRPL a wholly owned subsidiary. VRPL, incorporated on December 11, 2025, has a paid-up capital of Rs. 5,00,000 and reported nil turnover for FY 2025-26. The acquisition falls under related party transactions as the seller is part of the promoter group, but it is stated to be at arm's length. The subsidiary intends to engage in commodity trading and investments. The acquisition is expected to be completed by September 05, 2026.
