Welspun Michigan Engineers Secures New Order for Rehabilitation Project in Vadodara, Gujarat
Welspun Michigan Engineers Limited (WMEL), a subsidiary of Welspun Enterprises Limited (WEL), has been awarded a contract by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) for rehabilitation of existing 1,800 mm diameter drainage line in West Zone, Vadodara, Gujarat. The contract is valued at Rs. 79.29 Crore (excluding GST) and the project is scheduled for completion within 12 months (excluding monsoons). The outstanding order book of WMEL as on March 25, 2025 was Rs. 2,915.42 Crore (excluding GST). With the addition of this project, the outstanding order book now stands at Rs 2,994.71 Crore (excluding GST). This project marks a significant milestone for WMEL as it strategically marks their entry into a new market, highlighting their continued growth and expertise in urban infrastructure development and commitment towards sustainability.
