Welspun subsidiary wins ₹351.24 Cr sewer projects from AMC

Welspun Enterprises' material subsidiary, Welspun Michigan Engineers Limited (WMEL), has secured two sewer rehabilitation projects from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) worth a total of ₹351.24 Crore (including GST). The projects, funded by the World Bank, involve rehabilitating sewer lines in Western and Eastern Ahmedabad. The Western Ahmedabad project is valued at ₹229.48 Crore, and the Eastern Ahmedabad project is ₹121.76 Crore. These wins significantly boost WMEL's order book, increasing it from approximately ₹2,135 Crore to ₹2,432.66 Crore. This expansion reinforces Welspun Enterprises' position in the urban water and wastewater infrastructure sector.
