Wonderla Holidays Ltd Secures 6-Month Extension from Tamil Nadu Government for Chennai Park Commissioning

Wonderla Holidays Ltd has successfully obtained a six-month extension from the Tamil Nadu Government to commission its Chennai Park. The original Government Order, dated 2nd June 2023, set a 24-month construction timeline and a 10-year Local Body Tax (LBT) exemption from the date of commencement of commercial operations, which was initially set to commence within two years from 2nd June 2023. However, due to various circumstances, the company requested an extension, which was granted, and the commercial operation is now expected to commence by 2nd December 2025, with the full 10-year exemption period retained.
