W.S.INDUSTRIES (INDIA) LTD. to Acquire 74.94 Acres of Land for Rs.54.65 Crores

W.S.INDUSTRIES (INDIA) LTD. has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, M/S. WSI-P&C Verticals Private Limited, has entered into a binding agreement with Kotak Alternate Asset Managers Limited for the acquisition of 74.94 acres of land. This land is adjacent to the existing 254 acres already owned by the company in No.34, Sandavellur Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District of Tamilnadu. The consideration for the purchase of the property is Rs.54.65 Crores. This acquisition will enable the company to develop an Integrated Logistics park, light engineering, industrial housing and allied infrastructure of a minimum of around 20 million square feet. The property is in close proximity to major international industrial establishments such as Samsung, Foxconn, and Hyundai.
