Xelpmoc Design and Tech Ltd. Files Appeal Against GST Demand Order of Rs. 66,93,513

Xelpmoc Design and Tech Ltd. has filed an appeal with the Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Appeals)-4, Bangalore, against a GST Demand Order received from the office of Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Audit)-4.5, DGSTO-4, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The demand order, which amounts to Rs. 66,93,513 (including tax demand, interest, and penalty), was received for the financial year 2021-22. The Company has alleged non-payment of GST on outward supplies due to incorrect classification of such supplies as zero-rated and short payment of taxes under the RCM on inward supply of services.
