Yashhtej Industries Commences Revenue Generation from 5 MW Solar Power Project under PM-KUSUM Scheme

Yashhtej Industries (India) Limited has successfully commenced operations of its 5 MW Solar Power Project, which has started generating revenue from 7th March 2026. The Company had been awarded a Letter of Award (LOA) to act as a Solar Power Developer (SDP) for solar photovoltaic power generating stations of an aggregate capacity of 5 MW (AC) under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0. The scheme has been launched for implementation of feeder level solarisation under Component C of the PM—KUSUM Scheme. Pursuant to the said LOA, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) shall purchase the electricity generated from the Project, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) executed pursuant to the LOA. This milestone marks an important step in the Company’s growth strategy and reinforces its commitment towards sustainable energy development and contribution to India’s renewable energy initiatives.
