Zee Media Board Approves Re-appointment of Director Surender Singh

Zee Media Corporation Ltd announced that its Board of Directors, in a meeting held on August 14, 2026, approved the re-appointment of Mr. Surender Singh as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director. This re-appointment is based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for September 22, 2026. Mr. Singh, a retired IPS officer with extensive experience in national security and intelligence, has affirmed he is not debarred from holding a director's office. The Board also approved the notice for the AGM, which will include the Annual Report for FY 2025-26.
