Zuari Agro Chemicals to Sell Granulated Single Super Phosphate Plant to Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers for INR 72.75 Crores

Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd has executed a business transfer agreement to sell and transfer a part of its business including its granulated single super phosphate plant situated at Mahad, Maharashtra, and certain related assets to its subsidiary, Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd (MCFL). The sale is expected to be completed within three months, subject to the approval of the shareholders. The Mahad plant contributed 100% of the total turnover for the year ended 31st March 2025 and had a net book value of INR 51.10 Cr, which is 38% of the net worth of the company. MCFL is a listed Indian company and a subsidiary of Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd, engaged in the business of manufacturing and trading of urea and phosphatic fertilizers.
