Read:A sub-division changes the number of shares and the price per share in the same proportion. It does not change what the company is worth. Any price feed that is not adjusted for the split will show a ~90% drop on the ex-date; that is what happened in our own data.
BSE press release, Aug 25, 2026Company clarifies price movement query: no undisclosed information
Responding to the exchange's query on significant price movement, the company stated there is no undisclosed material information or development, and attributed the movement to market conditions.
Read:The query relates to the run-up before the split, not to the ex-date drop. The company's answer is the standard disclosure and contains no new information.
BSE filing, Aug 25, 2026The move that did happen
The move worth noting came before the split: from ₹825.25 on August 19 to ₹1,043.60 on August 24 (₹82.53 to ₹104.36 adjusted), a 26% rise over three sessions on 0.7–2.1 million shares a day against roughly 0.1–0.3 million in early August. Post-split volumes of 2.4–4.8 million shares a day correspond to 0.24–0.48 million pre-split shares, in line with the run-up sessions. The price has since drifted from ₹104.45 to ₹103.75.
What the filings say
Cordelia operates one ship, Empress. The August 12 press release states the fleet adds Sky in October 2026 and Sun in November 2027. The company reports more than 7.8 lakh guests sailed since operations began. The filings do not disclose fleet capex figures; earlier reporting that cited a specific investment amount was not sourced from any filing.

price-feed
For readers using our data: pre-August-25 prices for CORDELIA must be divided by 10 to compare with current quotes.
The August 25 print was a corporate action, not a re-pricing. Ten times the shares at a tenth of the price left market value at about ₹7,550 crore, within 0.1% of the day before.
The questions that matter for the stock are the ones the split did not touch: whether the three-session run-up before it holds, and whether Sky arrives in October as guided.
